The uresta® pessary is a continence pessary which is designed to be easily fitted by healthcare professionals or women themselves. It can be cared for by the patient.
Features of the uresta® pessary that make it easy to use:
- The tapered tip allows easy introduction into the vagina.
- The wide diameter of the bell-shaped device supports the urethra.
- The handle allows for easy insertion and removal of the device.

When the uresta® pessary is inserted the elongated tip interacts with the upper more horizontal portion of the vagina and it falls into position naturally.
Once in place, the pessary supports the urethra and stops bladder leaking. The woman is not aware of the pessary during daily activities.

Each uresta® kit includes:
- 3 pessary sizes (3, 4, 5)
- Discreet carrying case
In clinical trial, 80% of women were fit using one of these three sizes.1 The starter kit should be prescribed first as it is not unusual after wearing a pessary for it to become necessary to change the size of the pessary being worn. It may even be necessary to make such changes more than once after the original fitting.
