How the uresta® kit works
Function
The uresta® bladder support is not a drug, it is a medical device made from medical-grade non-latex rubber. It is inserted into the vagina (much like a tampon) to support the bladder. Once inserted it fits into your body to support your own anatomy and stops unwanted urine loss and lets you urinate naturally.

The uresta® bladder support's unique, self-positioning design is a medical breakthrough for stress urinary incontinence. The fit is self-managed, self-positioning and so comfortable you should not feel it inside.
Effectiveness
The uresta® kit is a safe, effective, over-the-counter alternative for women - who are not happy using pads and want to avoid surgery – to take charge of their urine loss.

Vaginal Health
Did you know that as women age their vaginal tissues change?
Vaginal atrophy is thinning and inflammation of the vaginal tissues. It is caused by a decline in estrogen. The vaginal tissues become drier, less elastic, and more fragile. It often occurs after menopause. Women with vaginal atrophy may experience vaginal dryness, vaginal burning, or discomfort with sexual intercourse.
Women with vaginal atrophy may have some discomfort when using the uresta® bladder support. Insertion and removal of the bladder support may cause spotting or light bleeding.
There are effective treatments for vaginal atrophy. You should see your doctor if you have vaginal dryness or discomfort. Local estrogen replacement therapy may help. It should be begun 2 weeks before use of the uresta® bladder support and then continued during use.
